PRITEX LIMITED is a UK based manufacturer of automotive acoustic insulation products. We also manufacture acoustic products for the industrial and aerospace sectors.

We supply acoustic insulation components and materials manufactured from polyurethane foam and polyester fibre and polypropylene fibre. Our foam range includes our own specialist grades (HFM42 and PS23) and our fibre range is headed by the new AcuLite® (E30F and E45F) material. These materials are complimented with other noise absorbing layers including polyurethane and polyester films, heavy layers and non-woven facings. We offer a wide range of fixing methods including self-adhesives and clip locator holes. The product range also includes our own in-house developed material: AcuLite® - the most advanced lightweight acoustic solution on the market.

Our vertically integrated manufacturing unit is certified to TS 16949 and ISO 9001. Certifications also include to Ford Q1, and ISO 14001. Pritex has facilities for foam cutting (slitting, peeling, automatic/CNC bandknifing), thermal moulding, high frequency welding, heat laminating, hot melt laminating, hot pressing and pressure stamping. These processes allow us to produce a wide variety of sound insulation products in a combination of materials and shapes.           

One of our key strengths is the ability to take noise problems identified late in the vehicle development phase and find simple, cost-effective acoustic insulation solutions in a very short lead time. This is supported by a well-equipped development facility, dedicated acoustics laboratory, and materials laboratory.
In addition, we use Lean Manufacturing techniques and employ a 6 Sigma programme for continuous improvement.

In support of the End Of Life Vehicles Directive and ISO 14001 environmental management system, we are constantly working with our customers to improve the recyclability of our products.
